NCsoft has temporarily disabled character creation on ten of their Aion servers. The purpose behind this move is population distribution, but also to take action against players whom are participating in activities which are prohibited in the game. This action has had an unfortunate side effect for some, as many players now find themselves banned but claim no wrong doing.
Aion player Rehevkor tells VE3D that he logged in to find his account banned.
I know that I didn't do anything to get banned (seriously, I've never been banned from anything) and that seems to be the case with the folks in this thread as well. I know NCSoft is working on the gold spamming problem, but I don't think banning everyone is the best approach!
Some have said that people using proxies have been banned. Another theory is that even if a player buys a market item from a gold-seller, they are found guilty by association. Nothing official from NCsoft as of yet.
