f you hit "h" there's a nice built-in help menu that lists all the commands.

shift 1 = shout
shift 2 = legion
shift 3 = group
shift 5 = alliance

/w name message = private message
t = reply to the last person who sent you a private message

If you start typing these commands, it'll automatically switch the chat channel. For example if you have Say open and you type /1, it'll switch to Region.


If you and a friend are in the same place but can't see each other, it's likely you're in different Channels. To change your channel, Menu -> Support -> Change Channel. This is also how to view what channel you're in. If you group together you can also hover over their name on the party window and it should tell you their channel.


If you can't figure out where something for a quest is, hit "J" and look at the quest text. More times than not, there's a word you can click which will display more information and even put the location on your map in most instances. THEN, if you hit "N" you can have your map up 24/7 while you play, so if you're retarded like me, you won't get lost.

Hold "Shift" and right-click the body.

How do I put away/take out my weapon?
Hit "x."
